The Short Version

  • You agree to use TapTone responsibly and legally.
  • You own the content you create and process using our tool.
  • We provide the service "as is" without expansive warranties.
  • We can terminate accounts that abuse the API or violate these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TapTone browser extension and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. License to Use

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the TapTone extension solely for your personal or internal business purposes strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

3. License Keys & Payments

License Keys: TapTone operates on a license key model. Keys are purchased for a specific validity period and do not automatically renew. To continue using premium features after your key expires, you must manually purchase a new license key.

No Refunds: All sales are final. Since we provide a Free/Trial tier for you to test the service, we do not offer refunds for license key purchases. Please ensure the extension meets your needs using the free version before purchasing.

Payment Processing: We use third-party platforms (such as Lynk.id) to process payments. TapTone does not collect directly or store your credit card or financial information.

BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own API keys. TapTone is not responsible for charges incurred on your personal AI provider accounts due to your usage of our tool.

4. Intellectual Property

The TapTone extension, including its code, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of TapTone. However, you retain all rights to the text content you input and the output generated by the service. We claim no ownership over your communications.

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. TapTone makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy of translations or tone refinements. AI outputs can occasionally be incorrect or misleading; users should verify important communications.

In no event shall TapTone be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
